Our fleet consists of automatic transmission vehicles. All vehicles are modern, hybrid, well-maintained, and equipped with dual controls for the safety of our students.

Yes, you must have a valid learner's permit or Valid car overseas licence before you can begin any driving lessons. If you need help obtaining your permit, we can provide guidance on the process.

Booking a lesson with Smart Licence only takes a few minutes. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1 – Search for an Instructor
Enter your pickup suburb and preferred transmission (auto or manual) in the (Find an Instructor) tool, then press SEARCH icon.

Step 2 – View Instructor Profiles
Browse the available instructors in your area. Click VIEW PROFILE to see details, including their real-time availability under *Book with \[instructor name]. Use the drop-down menus to check available dates and times.

Step 3 – Select Lesson Time
Choose your instructor and schedule at least one lesson from their available times. You can add more lessons now or later from your personal dashboard. Press BOOK ONLINE NOW.

Step 4 – Enter Your Details
Provide your pickup location and contact details, then press CONTINUE. This creates your Smart Licence account and gives you access to your personal dashboard.

Step 5 – Confirm & Pay
Select the number of lesson hours you’d like to purchase, enter your payment details, and press MAKE PAYMENT. You can pay for just the booked lessons, or buy additional hours at a discount to use later.

Step 6 – Add Learning Preferences (Optional)
Let your instructor know about your driving experience or any special requests. Press CONFIRM LESSON. Your booking is now confirmed, your instructor notified, and their contact details will be available to you.

Step 7 – Manage Your Lessons
From your personal dashboard, you can reschedule, cancel, or book more lessons at any time—24/7.

Our pricing depends on the course and the number of lessons you choose. We offer individual lessons as well as discounted packages. Also price varies depend on instructor set price online. For detailed pricing, please visit our website.

Yes, we allow you to choose your instructor, subject to their availability. All our instructors are highly trained, licensed, and experienced in helping students feel comfortable behind the wheel.

At Smart Licence, we understand that building a good connection with your driving instructor helps create a more comfortable – and more effective – learning experience.

If you’d like to try lessons with a different instructor, it’s easy:

1. From your dashboard, select “Find Another Instructor”.
2. Choose your new instructor and check their availability.
3. Book online and take your next driving lesson.

It’s that simple!

You can leave a review for any instructor you have completed at least one driving lesson with.

If you do not see the “Rate Instructor” button or receive a notification, it means either:

You have not yet completed a driving lesson with that instructor, or

You have already submitted a rating for that instructor.
